The Poem for all Times 2nd Edition

The first "The Poem for all Times" which was co-written with a friend touched on one aspect of love...."the finding part"....The second goes beyond the "reclaiming part". Here it goes...

Main jee raha tha zindagi kuch aise,
Khushiyon pe badal chaa rahein ho jaise.
Bhula raha tha saare baatein aur yaadein,
Akele raah pe chala jaa raha hun jaise.

Ek mod pe do rahein mil gayein,
Zindagi bhar saath chalne ke asha jag gaye.
Woh raah na jaane kahan chale gaye,
Zindagi ke bahar patjhar mein kho gaye.

Us raah pe phir jaane ko dil karta hai,
Woh kasme phir khane ko dil karta hai.
Main jee raha tha zindagi kuch aise,
Usse raah pe kise ke raah dekh raha hun jaise.

The poem for all times...2nd Edition

The Premise
"Chaahe Jo Tumhe Poore Dil Se
Milta Hai Woh Mushkil Se
Aisa Jo Koi Kahin Hai
Bas Vahi Sabse Hasin Hai
Us Haath Ko Tum Thaam Lo
Woh Meherbaan Kal Ho Na Ho..."
Love is not meant to be all flowers and rainbows. Life changes, things move on and people change. Vows of a lifetime turn into bonds of distrust. Ties that binded two individuals into one now start to break. Questions and doubts arise in the mind. Letting go is very easy at this point. Holding on, seeing it through is the difficult part. But then isn't life supposed to be the same. You always have the option, give up or fight it out. It was never said that it was going to be easy, all that was said was it was going to be worth it.

Getting the love of someone is the most special thing in the world. Do all you can preserve it and keep it from going. Real love, they say lasts forever. What makes love real, is the differences, hardships and doubts it went through and still managed to come out alive and kicking. If it were not for all these and the journey was filled only with roses, the journey was just not worth it. The "thorns" make the bond only stronger. Differences and doubts in love are like the dark clouds, you have to go through the thunderstorm to see the rainbow on the other side.

A few lines from the song Breakfast at Tiffany's...

You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care

And I said what about "Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's the one thing we've got."
